In an interactive course learn about earthquake hazard and risk modelling covering topics: Plate Tectonics, Subduction Zones, Earthquake Faulting, Earthquake Monitoring, Earthquake Early Warning and Response, Earthquake Forecasting, Ground Motion Modelling, Risk Analysis, Earthquake preparedness and risk communication. The course will be followed by a field trip to
engineering and geological sites along the Wellington fault.
