Introduced in 2021, the SCNZ Best Steel Paper Award is for the best steel focused paper published in the proceedings of the NZSEE Conference for that year. The criteria for best steel paper selection include quality of paper, contribution to engineering knowledge, future significance, originality and value to the New Zealand structural steel fabrication sector.
The Award comprises a certificate and $1000 cash prize, and will be announced at the annual NZSEE Conference.
