IPENZ Professional Commitment Award for 2002

Citation reads:
Leslie Megget, senior civil and environmental engineering lecturer at the University of Auckland, has made a continuing contribution to the profession of earthquake engineering and to the Institution by instigating the "Road to Registration" lectures, and contributing to the organisation of many conferences, technical groups and branch activities. He has also repeatedly been the editor of the NZSEE Bulletin.
