If you are here, you must be interested in becoming a member of our society.

Engineers, scientists, architects, insurers, contractors, and all those who have an interest in earthquakes and their effects are eligible for membership. The membership year is 1 October to 30 September.

Admission to membership of the Society is subject to the approval of the Management Committee. 'Ordinary' (individual) and 'Corporate' memberships are available, with a discount for students.

Annual membership dues, which include a subscription to the Society's quarterly Bulletin are (for 2010/2011):

Members	In New Zealand $NZ 95 (GST Inclusive) + Service Fee Overseas $NZ 140 + Service Fee
Students	In New Zealand $NZ 40 (GST Inclusive) + Service Fee Overseas $NZ 65 + Service Fee
Corporate	In New Zealand $NZ 195 (GST Inclusive) + Service Fee Overseas $NZ 240 + Service Fee

Notes

Members of the Institution of Professional Engineers New Zealand ( IPENZ) and IPENZ technical groups are only invoiced one Database Service Fee ($38 + GST) for all of their membership dues.
Overseas members do not pay GST.
