1999 Technical Conference and AGM
The NZSEE held its 1999 Technical Conference
and AGM at Rydges Hotel, Rotorua, 19-21 March 1999. Its purpose is
to provide a forum for the free interchange of ideas, views and experiences
through state-of-the-art presentations aimed at advancing the science
and practice of earthquake engineering.
"Variations in Regional
Seismicity: How Should They Be Accommodated?"
This conference theme was supported by a Keynote
Presentation given by leading US earthquake engineer Dr. Charles
Kircher and various
related papers. There were also Study Group reports
and papers on other associated topics.
